Hey guys, I was at a gun show today and a table caught my eye with a fair group of small to large customs. They were all by a company called Anza. so I got the little knife, came with a small leather sheath and its nice. Took me awhile to get a nice edge on it but i got it. Has anyone ever gotten a Anza knife or heard anything about them? if you have any information on the company or there knife quality would be apprecitated.
-Thanks

yeah I saw there websit but like to get opinions of people off there websit because they could tlk themselves up easily.

you bought the knife use it and form an opinion you don't need people to tell you whether or not you like a knife you own.

just food for thought

Yeah im planniung on doing that just wondering for some immediate information. its wierd how he makes his knives though. he makes them out of files. his websit says its high carbon steel so it should be nice.

Anza has been around for awhile. I wouldn't classify them as custom knives though. Anza sells wholesale through distributors. I don't own one but from what I've seen of them they seem to be well made users.

Enjoy the knife and post up a review if you get a chance.

No two people are going to have the exact same experience with a knife. It's reasonable to want to gather other people's opinions about something that interests you. Trying to curb discussion on a discussion forum is bit mystifying to me.

+1 there VR4! I have also wondered about the long term opinions of Anza owners. Let's hear the opinions, please.

I had a small Anza once - I think like a 3" blade.

I didn't really care for it - mostly the look and feel didn't appeal to me. The grooves from the file gave it a nice funky look. I'm sure a firesteel would have sparked like mad on the spine!

The wood-like handles were kind of cheap looking and quite small.

I'm sure if it were larger, it would have been a good user, but it just wasn't for me.

YMMV

owned a coupal in 80s guy has been here awhile.at that time his heattreat was'nt. exempleary if i have my ducks in a row american files are only case hardened so files might need some tweaking to perform. al pendray in florida commented that the spanish files [spain] were very homogenus in content & decent knives could be made from same.
