Help on a custom Meerkat project

I came across 3 stripped Meerkats at the Tanner gun show in Denver today. all plain edge 440c Golden originals minus scales and final edges. Two had been ground poorly and one is still flat. I want at least one custom done with a new edge and scales. I'm thinking a dark wood with the original meerkat pattern but I'm open to suggestion. I also need someone to make the scales and grind a new edge. So far TuffKnives seems like a good option. His work is solid and he has plenty of Spydercos under his belt. If anyone knows someone of equal skill, especially in the Denver metro area, please let me know. I'll post pictures of the knives as I found them tomorrow.

Wow! Sounds like you got hold of some rejected knives that didn't even make it to the stage where scales were fitted.

More than likely stolen. We had a lot of problems with theft during that period in our factory history.
