Help on age and description of Camillus knife

I have a similar Camillus with horn handles and in addition it has the crossed sword stamp. I would be interested in the age of these designs. I suspect that they are in fact made in Germany and imported by Camillus as I've seen similar German designs.

check the link out in my post to the OP its got a crossed sword tang, kinda like you described, if the link is to be believed 41-46 i doubt its a German Import, dunno though does yours have the 4 line camillus stamp on the reverse???

Hi, yes mine does have the 4 line stamp, but have a look at the link below from Knife Talk Online the poster states the crossed swords to be in use from 1906

If it is earlier than 1941 I still have this feeling that it may be German, it just doesn't seem to be US made. I am only guessing as I still have lots to learn about knives. It's puzzles like this that makes collecting so interesting.

Here's another reference to 1906 in the Oregon Knife Club newsletter

Thanks for the help Ivan and Greyelm. I'll post on the other forum like you suggest. Knife on Ebay sure looks like the same pattern, good info.
