Help on benchmade 710/705 special editions

Hello Everyone,

Does anyone know if there is a list of benchmades 710/705 special editions ?

Or maybe, thanks to the collective knowledge here, it would be possible to create such a list...

If noboby has a list, maybe you could tell me which special editions you are aware of....
 
705BC1HS Benchmade Forum Knife - 100 made
705BC1HS - slightly different handles than above, was either 37-40 of them made
705-02 - 500 made
705-03 - bone inserts - 100 made
705-04 - 250 made
705-05 - 250? made
705-401 - silver G-10 handles - 250 made

710SPL - aluminum handles
710-01 - brass w/winewood inserts - 300 made
710-02 - 500 made
710-03 - bone inserts - 100 made

I have pictures of all of them except for the 705-05 and the 705-401 in my galleries.

I only listed the plain edged versions of each. Some have partially serrated blades available, some do not.

I think that's all of them.
 
You need to add the 705BW , aluminum handles with wood inserts. Larry

I was wondering if these special edition benchmades are purely collector items (safe-queens) or if some of their owners actually use them...

I have a 705BW and have no reservations about carying and using it. #44 of 200 is doing what it was born to do - cutting things.

710SPLHS and 710SPLHSS

Only one of each that I'm aware of ;)
 
I just orderd a (705-401 - silver G-10 handles) at EDCKnives...

I'll let you know my impressions when I get it.

Excellent choice. Today I placed an order for a second 705-401. It's a sweet 705 variation. :)
 
I just replaced my EDC 705CF with the new and improved 705-401...I LOVE they way the 401 turned out!! 705 is my absolute favorite moneyclip.

710 prototype w/black alum handles, diff thumb studs (same size as axis button) marked prototype june 98 IIRC, i have one.
