Help on custom knife logo

I’m looking for a little help in identifying the makers name on a custom Bowie knife.
The stamping is the outline of the state of Texas with the letter “Y” in the center.

According to the Knives Annual 2007 it would be Joe Yeates from Spring TX. He is retired yet made renown with a Bowie used in the movie 'Iron Mistress'.
