Hey str. want to put a finger choil onto my JYD II like the vasilli choil, or like you did it. I have everything except for a dremel. Whats the easyest way to do this if you dont mind me asking. Could i just bore a choil right through it with a fat end mill? I have mills, drill press and every bit in the world.. Oh yeah and to remove the horns?Reccomendation for that.. Can this be done with the knife put together or should it be taken apart?
Thnks
For the help.

I'd remove the horns on a bench sander like a 4x36 if I had nothing else. That should work fine and you should not have to take it apart to do that no.

Choil? Its been so long I forget how I did the one did to be honest but chances are I did it or at least got a good start doing it with the small wheel attachment on my belt grinder. Thats the easiest way. Second is a variable speed dremmel with a drum sander.

Your mills are not going to work unless they are carbide cutters.

Hope that helps
