I have a fixed blade knife marked ENNIS on one side and MONTROC RONIN on the other side. I think there was a Montroc knife brand awhile back but was Ray Ennis involved with them? Gray micarta grip and 9 inch overall with 4 inch tanto blade. Kydex belt clip sheath. Thank you I will attach pics when camera is recharged.

There was a short lived relationship between the two for a bit. Pretty cool blades as I recall. I once asked Ray about revisiting one of the patterns and his answer was no. My take away was the relationship ended on bad terms. I’d love to see pics of your blade👍

Here are some pics, not very good though. It's hard to pick up the writing. The gray finish on the blade is a glassy smooth finish not like sand blasted. Thank you

I don't know for sure. I got it without the box. I would agree with you it probably is 440c because he loved working with it. It's the only knife I have made by him and it is well made. I don't know what the blade finish is though. The pictures don't show it properly. As I said it's a gray glassy type smooth finish. Maybe like melonite.
