Hi everyone. I just wanted to draw attention to a post on the Community forum (again) in case any of you might be interested. I wrote most of this to Bill Oji-chan, and he said it was OK to post this, before anyone asks.

There is a forumite named Brian who is going through a very bad time. He needs a kidney transplant, and is running out of money to get between his home and the transplant center every time he gets called in for a possible surgery. He's only 28 and has a couple of young children.

He posted on the community forum asking if anyone might be able to help him out. No, I don't know him personally, but am going on blind trust in humanity as I want to believe I'm still capable of it.

What does this have to do with khukuris? Nothing. I just thought I'd post the link here, since the HI group seems to be made up of a great, big-hearted bunch of folks who might be interested in something like this.

Thanks Novadak!!!!
I have enjoyed reading Brian's posts
and have to give him credit for being a real human being and carrying his life on in a good way in spite of being stricken with such serious medical problems.
I cannot put in words the feelings I have for Brian and the way he conducts himself as not many people under the threat he and his family face daily, and I still cannot put it in words....... I will just say
that Barb and me are definitely in and a check from us will be going out this Wednesday to Brian and his family.
And it would have been sooner but for our cashflow right now.

SkagSig40-use any internet search for PayPal.It lets you transfer money from a credit card or bank account to anyone with an e-mail address. It's very handy for paying for stuff bought on the net.
