I just got my spyderco paramilitary 2 in m390 I wanted to adjust the pivot screw but it would not budge. It feels like it's "froze solid" and I do not want to apply too much pressure. Ant ideas how to unscrew it? Thanks

Go ahead and unscrew it. What you're feeling is the loctite. It's nice to know that Spyderco has enough attention to detail that they loctite their knives for you.

Not sure if you can adjust it , i thought the New para 2 has bushing system like a Sebenza.

It has bushing rings but if you loose a pivot screw a bit the action becomes faster.

Put an Torx wrench in it, put it on the counter and tap the wrench with the handle of a screwdriver. It should break the loctite and make it easier to turn.

I also found that with my PM2. when I took the clip off, the other side was much easier to adjust. When I adjusted the other side, I found that the orginal side became moveable, it just takes a little muscle. Make sure you have it flat and a good torx driver that is seated well in the screw so you don't strip it. Good luck.

what I did was heat up the pivot screw and turn it right after and it should become loose. That's what I did atleast, good luck!:D
