Spyderco Fans,

I love Spyderco, i have the Tenacious and got hooked on Spyderco knives. Anyways im really looking for a new one. I have some mixed emotions about some things and hope people could help me.

Looking into Endura 4, Delica 4 or something like those a good strong dependable folder that wont break the bank. Thinking i want to try half serrated this time, and really thinking of getting and all black knife.

Im open to any suggestions or comments, thanks a whole lot guys

You can't go wrong with any of Spyderco's Seki knives. I don't have a Seki knife with the black coating, so I can't comment on that.

I've got the British Racing Green Endura with ZDP-189 plain edge...it's fantastic! Not all black like you may be wanting, but the steel is soooo good on this knife.

If you want all black there is the Para 2, Military or a Pacific Salt. There is the black bladed Tenacious coming next year.

If you want serrations I highly recommend one of the H1 Salt series. Plain edge it doesn't seem to perform wonderfully, but the extra machining is supposed to boost the HRC to something like 67-68. And you don't have to worry about rust.

Maybe look for a black Native 1. Not sure if it's available in PS, but the SE blade seems to have a short run of straight edge near the tip...

Good luck! :)

Check out the Manix line, they make the Manix 2 with partial serrated edge and a black blade. They are tanks of knives and a deal for < $100. Ball bearing lock is cool too!

The Delica is one of my all time favorite knives so I can't recommend one more. I'm not sure though if they are offered with the black blade or PS. Ramiel has a good point about the ZDP-189 blades that can be had in the Delica and Endura lines, you might want to look into one of these.
