Help ! Please ID this Ti-lite as counterfeit or real .

Impulse buy from auction site .

I don't have any experience with this model , but the one I got seems like a cheap POS .

I really hope this is a fake , it's going back in any case but I'd like to know anyway .

Any help is much appreciated !

Lots of things look suspect. Like the box, the stud, the logo, handle material, jimping, lock bar checkering, blade finish, etc.

100% genuine Chinesium.

I don't own it anymore, but I dug up this photo of a Ti-Lite VI I took a little while back.

Yours looks like it was supposed to be the 4" model, but even setting aside the differences between those two yours looks like a fake to me. The lack of jimping on the guards jumped right out at me; the blade grind and branding look off as well.

Yep, definitely fake. Box is wrong (at least the front), and I don't believe they ever included the "High Performance Knives" part of the logo on any knives.
