I am trying to find out what this stamp is on this Busse

That is Paul Bos heat treat stamp on Brian Wagner Okuden (Oku) knife. NOT a Busse. Though he makes incredible sheaths for Busse knives

Oku is his forum name, he usually only checks in once a month or so....

I was told it was, I thought something was not right, is this a good knife? any idea of value? I think I got took.

If you got it here, or on Ebay you can get your money back.
Have no idea what that one is worth.
 
I've heard they are good, I've handled a few at Blade. Always been interested but just never took the plunge to get one. They come up for sale "occasionally". Never heard anything bad about them and Brian is a stand up fella with excellen reputation. I wouldn't be afraid to use it.....just depends how much you in it for.

I would also be interested how you got it. Busse is a pretty distinct brand, I wonder (not saying there was) if intentional deception was involved. I've seen people selling Busse under a different makers name, but never another maker as a Busse.

You live and learn, if it was a PayPal deal, you can certainly get your money back as long as "gift" option wasn't used
 
They are great knives i carry one in the woods pretty regularly.
Brian is a friend and brother hog, "PORKUDEN" was inducted with me in 2004.

I am in it $250 I think its a good knife, and I am happy, maybe I will sell it.
I got it locally I think he was told it was by Busse, Now I know and I appreciate the information.

250 is a good price. I think you did just fine for a nice knife, did it have a sheath?
 
Dont know about the knife but Paul Bos is famous for his heat treatments.
