i used tuf glide on my strider smf and it worked great, blade is buttery smooth now but the lock started becoming super sticky..anyone know why this is and what I can do about it? happens everytime i use tuf glide so i'm pretty sure its got something to do with that....

I use tuf-glide but generally only in the pivot area so I've never had it anywhere near the lock face. Common fixes for a sticky lock include applying permanent marker or pencil to the lock face which usually helps to prevent galling.

yea i used the pencil trick, seemed to help a bit..whats galling?

try using less tuf-glide half a drop if you can manage on each side of the pivot because its suspended in a mineral spirit that makes it quickly spread if too much is applied. for clean up try using a little rubbing alcohol on the tang and lock bar face using either a qtip or tooth pick.
