I have captured a fairly old (18-20 years old..) but wonderful condition Police all stainless GIN-1 fully serrated blade.

Love all aspects of the knife - however two of the three pocket clip screws are stripped.

I attempted to twist them off with the needlenose tips of my Leatherman - no budging.

Are there tricks to loosening and removing these little buggers? Heat them a little?
Apply a tiny bit of anti-seaze? Or just ship it into Spyderco...?

The knife is in pristine condition. I have a fresh set of screws enroute from Spyderco Customer service - bless those folks...!

Any and all suggestions appreciated.

I would try putting the tip of a soldering iron on the screw head, to heat it up, and then twist the head with your pliers..

I would ship it to Spyderco if that does not work. Make sure to insure it and get tracking.

Today I purchased a small five inch pair of special small nose/tip ViceGrips and they worked like a charm removing those two stripped screws without scratching any of the surrounding stainless or the pocket clip. I then buffed the grime from beneath the pocket clip and it is as new!!

Relieved!
