HELP!!! Posting Pics

I hope somebody can help me out here. I have read the FAQs and a few threads including the thread at the bottom of the post. I open other folks threads and they have these awesome photos on there and I want to post some of my own but the problem is I'm not very tech savvy and for some reason I can't figure it out. I made a photobucket account and used it to resize the photos but BF says the attachment is too large and I want to make sure, if I can even figure it out, that if I link them to PB they will be full size and not the little thumbnails. Any help anybody can give me would be greatly appreciated. If somebody has a simple walkthrough that works for them I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

This is what I do, and it works for me.

1) Open Photobucket in another tab.

2) Mouse over the photo I want to use (that is, put the mouse cursor on the picture)

3) Select the bottom line of code in the menu which appears, the one with IMG tags. When you click one it, it will say "Copied", a rather nice feature.

4) switch back to the Bladeforums tab on my browser.

5) Right click where I want the photo and click "Paste" on the pop up menu that appears.

That's it.

I have a question very much in this vein, so if nobody will take offense I'll put it here instead of a new thread.

Is there a way to post pics from the Tap-a-talk app? I'm never near a computer, but my phone is always on me...

I don't have a problem with it being posted here, it is pretty much the same question with a different venue. However, I can't help you out as I'm not even sure what program your talking about lol.
 
There absolutely is a way — I've seen people do it. I don't use it, though, so I don't know what that way might be. I'll see if I can rustle up someone who does and send them this way.
 
If you download the latest version of tapatalk there are icons (I am looking at them as I type this) and they allow you to take a photo with your device or choose one from your library on the device (or at least this is true with the iPhone). Very very simple with the latest version and the iPhone.

Dammit. I've tried the camera icon, and I get a "Disabled" dialogue box. I'll see if I have an older version and need to update. Thanks.
 
In case you don't get it working, the mobile version of Photobucket has come a long way in the last few years. You may even have a free app available for it. You can use that too.

To Streetdog: the Tapatalk app is a smartphone thing that makes it easier to browse on bf and other sites. I'm never near my computer, so it's helpful, and much faster than trying to peruse the regular site with a phone. Too bad I didn't keep up with the times, so every new thing I have to hold someone's hand a get a walkthrough. :)

Gotta snap some pictures since I get to play in the sandbox now.
