HELP!!! prototype WIP

I have here the next design and I don't have a name for it. I've asked around a bit and I've gotten a few interesting names. What do you think? What are your first impressions?
"Valor", "Falco", "Kestrel", "Liger"

These couple of pics here are just after heat treating.

Nice lines!

I'd stick with Valor or Kestrel.
No reason to give it a 'tactical" name since the design speaks for itself.
 
You could call it the "Talon". Not sure if the names taken or not, but I think it would fit. Some other names for consideration
The
"Fang"
"Blitz" or "Lightning"
"The Pinnacle"
"The Apex"
"Rogue"
"Bandit"
Im not sure if any of those names have been used before, but some for you to kick around the old noggin.



Of course use of any of these names requires a payment to myself by way of a knife:D:p

Closed, it reminds me of the sort of futuristic cars you see in movies and such (the silver of the blade is the windshield, the rest of it the body, the wheels would be hidden). This Audi design is apparently called the Shark (I couldn't tell you if it was an official Audi release or not):

How about... the Shuttle? Or... no. Such a car would be fast... Sonic the hedgehog is fast... and blue! Call it the Fischer Sonic! Also, one of the cars that once held the land speed record was the "Spirit of America - Sonic 1" (I just looked up names of some of those cars) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Land_speed_record
 
I kinda wanted to make a knife with a crazy profile and name it "Sepulchral". The few knives I've made have had wood working curves and nothing approaching the artful grind of your knife, so the name of course would not be fitting.
Sepulchral means a burial place for relics, but it can also mean concave which is the defining feature of your blade.
Nice grinds by the way, looks like you could actually use both points on that knife.

hmmm i like wave rider/ wave runner the knife doesnt look particurarily aggressive to me its got nice lines and its blue handles remind me of the ocean (man i love me the ocean from sparkling blue to pea green) i dont neccesarily like my knives to have overly aggresive names even if they are tactical in nature i think its a bit silly sometimes.

Not so sure I like Sonic so much, but The Fischer Hedgehog sounds kinda cool.:thumbup:
 
Megadon? Seraphim? Megadon is the city that Rush talks about in thier 20 minute song 2112. Seraphim just sounds cool.
 
I appreciate all the input immensely. I'm leaning towards "Kestrel", just taking the "Falco" idea a little further. Kestrel being the hovering falcon, always above seeking the best opportunity to strike. The F.Fischer Kestrel. Any objections?
