Help Push Me Over the Edge

Well I need your help guys. I am new to kershaw knives, I only currently own one and I have an echelon on pre order. But I still cannot get the 0561 out of my head. I think I've probably watched that kershawknivesmike video at least a hundred times. I was set to pre order this beast but then I got a pretty hefty car repair bill. So needless to say that ate into my knife buying fund considerably. But alas this poor college kid is getting a tax refund. Now this would be my most expensive knife to date. I just need you all to give the me the straight on these knives lol or someone could send me their 0550 so that I could stroke it and caress it and then go use the hell out of it lol jk

I've had plenty of expensive knives, but Kershaw seems to be doing things right in regards to prices and tolerances. The wait has been pretty long, but I have no doubts it will be worth it. You'd be hard pressed to find a better hard use knife for $260...especially with the Kershaw Warranty. I think there might be a few contenders in that range, but none like the 056x. Flipper+bearing system+ti frame lock = super awesome. Plus its got the Hinderer name on it!

Or you can just sell your car and get a real Hinderer...

I doubt my opinion carries much weight but I'd like to say-
If there is something you really want and you are able to get it, then do. If you do not, you may wind up regretting what could have been. Life is way too short to deprive yourself. The ZT 561 looks like a nice knife, I have one on order. I have a 550 and like it enough that I know I'll be happy with my 561. At the very least, consider a 550 because they can be owned without a wait. But again, you may always want a 561. Boils down to what's right on a personal level. Going without will only make you want. Just sayin'

I'm in the same boat as the OP. I was up all night watching videos and doing research on the 0560. I want one so bad I actually tried to buy one last night, but couldn't find anywhere that was taking preorders. Anyone know when it's supposed to drop, and where to get one when it does?

Yea I hear ya man, lol I just wanted to be re affirmed about these knives before ordering one. I'll most likely be putting in a pre order as soon as I find a place taking them.
