Ive got the choice down to a Spyderco para a Bradley Alias a Benchmade rukus a Benchmade HK14205 drop pint recurve or tanto even though harder to sharpen it will be a SF knife as well as a user.
Any info or opinions well appreciated.
Im also of course willing to consider other blades if you can point us in there direction.
And i will get a Seb one day when ive got a bit more cash.

What are you looking for in a folder? Tactical? Practical? Or just one to get you started on moderately high end folders?

Bradley Alias I or II. If you are wanting a Sebenza then the Alias will fit your needs for a while and is a somewhat affordable alternative. It is not quite the knife that a Sebenza is but the Alias is a super EDC with Sebenza type features and is well made.

Para Military. I just sold a P-Mil and the dood is edcing the P-mil over his Seb!

Sounds like the para then however what steel?.

good choice. great knife that does not break the bank.

nothing wrong with the bradley, it is a fine tool in its own right.

my para is the foliage green/d2 version. i carry a millie in favor of the para, but the compression lock is about as good as it gets.

Personally I'd go with the BM 14205...it doesn't have the recurve like the 14210. I honestly think this is one of the most underrated production folders today. :D

The 14205 and my sebenza are my two favorite knives in the collection.
