OK,

Bought this blindly, not knowing what it was I was getting. The only description I had was that it was a "Busse Steel Heart" of some sort. I figured someone on here would want it, but before I can list it, I need to have some idea as to what it is!

From what I can tell, it appears to be an ASH-1 variant of some sort. The thickness is .22, and the handle matches the profile of my ASH-1 SE perfectly. The blade is not as wide (edge to spine) and has a swedge, serrations, and is a bit recurve. I am posting up pictures next to my ASH-1 SE and my custom shop HHFSH for reference. Any description including finish color, grip color, and grip material would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

-Bob

Looks like muddy blade finish with tan canvas Micarta handles and a full-height convex grind.... maybe

What they said. You might add that the blade is a clip point with a swedge. But the picture will show that.

Nice collection you got going already. That HH was an Easton Show special and is a killer blade.

Love the HH, it was the first Busse I bought when I started collecting them a month or so back! It's a nice day out, I am going to take it out and do some chopping with it.

Thanks everyone for helping me identify this Busse. I just posted it up in the FS forum.
