Help restoring vintage Kershaw lockback

I just got a good deal on a Kershaw #1993 gentlemans folder but it needs a bit of work so I figured id turn it into a little diy restoration project. It's a little hard to see in the pictures but the micarta handles have some minor scuffs/scratches and the brass bolsters are tarnished. I've had good results wet sanding G10 up to 2000grit and then polishing with Flitz, will this work on Micarta? How bout the brass? If not whats the best way to polish the brass? After I get the handles sorted out Ill move onto the blade which has some sharpening scratches I'd like to polish out. Any tips or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
