Hey Sal; What is the exact size for the pivot adjustment on the Chinook II.I'm getting cross eyed looking at it,for some reason it is hard to tell what the inside of the pivot screw accepts. Is it a torx and if yes what size? I don't want to strip her  thanks

p.s. Is there any lock-tite on the pivot adjustment I should have to be concerned with when adjusting?

On mine at least, all the screws except the clip screws are torx, the blade and lockbar pivot screws appear to have "stepped" heads, T10 fits the larger "outer" holes on both sides T7 the "inner" on the right side, T5 the "inner" on the left on both these screws. The 4 screws holding the liners and scales to the backstrap are T6. I've never attempted disassembly, so can't say for sure how hard they are to loosen.

if you attempt to losen screws on a Spydie, make sure you got a quality tool and don't rush things, keep a firm and strong hold on the tool and screw. my experience with Spyderco's is that the screws are usually VERY tight fitted, and i wouldn't be surprised if LocTite is used either. i've stripped the heads of Philips-screws on my Police's clip once because they were very tight and my tool was 'average' quality. i decided to give up and leave the clip alone :D
