help sharpening

Hello all. I just received my CUDA quik action yesterday as a replacement for one I sent in for repair. This is the spear point model (model CUDA1). When I opened it I saw the edge had not even been sharpened. It was flat on the edge like the false edge on top. I have hand sharpened it to hair poppin sharp from the tip to about half way down the blade. Any suggestions? The steel is ATS-34 I have linked some pic. of the knife and the stones. The diamond red pad is a Gerber fine grit. I would appreciate any help. Thanks, John

OK this is the deal, I sent in my CUDA 22 tanto (junior) on May 14th. They sent it to someone else to have the knife fixed. The man who the knife was sent to said it wasnt fixable, so Maureen in CS said we have one quik action in the whole place we will replace it with so I said ok. After Maureen received the knives from the other repair man she called and said they could fix the tano CUDA. Well the spear point was slready in the mail so I said If they can fix it can I buy the other knife back so I could have both. She said call me in an hour, let me talk to may manager. I called back and she said we will fix it free and have it to you in 2 weeks free . I figured she stood up for me with her mannager, she has been very helpful over the two + months. I am just thankful for what she has done for me, Plus I did not want to look a gift horse in the mouth.I also wanted to hand sharpen a knife from that pointof dullness,The third pic in the top post is the angle i put on it after an hour and a half of hand sharpening. as I am fairly new to sharpening to hair shaveing sharp. I have the top part hair shaveing sharp but the base is not as sharp. I thought that the blade near the base may have been thicker so it will just take some more time because I have been doing light sharpining on the dimond pad and I keep getting hair poppin sharp more and more towards the base slowly of the blade. I am sorry if it seems like I was bashing Camillus, because I was not in any way and I am sorry if it came across like that. I am very happy with Mareen, she has been a big help.
