hello, its been awhile since i've posted on here.. but yesterday i bought a nice CRKT Stiff K.I.S.S. chisel ground tanto knife for the fantastic price of $15! it came sharp, but i thought it could be a little sharper.. so i bought a Smith's 2-Stone Sharpe Kit, model # 50168 earlier today. i am no where near the best knife sharpener, but i've seen a lot online about how kits with a guided system are pretty good at keeping a knife in a nice sharp condition.. this kit came with no instructions. the website comes with no instructions. there is a video on youtube, but of a different sharpening kit model as mine. so i decided to follow the video even tho it wasnt the same sharp kit or even same style of blade. i would love to hear some tips on how to use this system or if the system it self is a piece of all out sh*t, because my knife, after a few tries at making it sharper, cant even cut paper now its so dull.. it just tears a normal sheet of paper.. and even that takes a bit of effort. even tho the knife only cost me $15, i have fallen inlove with the knife's over all aesthetic design as it is beautiful. any info on how to sharpen up a chisel ground crkt stiff k.i.s.s. tanto, or howto use the Smith's 2-Stone Sharpe Kit, model # 50168 would be amazing. im begging for help! lol. thanks for reading!
