Hello,
I am trying to mod my first 84mm and replace the main blade/file with a Spyderco dragonfly.
Since I already destroyed a couple of 91mm springs (I tried to mod it in a 91mm and failed) could someone help me with a picture of how I need to cut/sharpen the 84mm spring in order for the Dragonfly to fit and have good tension ?
Thanks!

No idea what the cut required will be like. An angle cut, maybe?
Put the blade over the spring in the position you want (with whatever bushing you're going to use to fit the blade to the smaller pivot pin installed) and mark the spring with a Sharpie?
Will the spring at the other end need trimmed to avoid blade rap? Not much can be removed to avoid blade rap at the pivot pin. You might have to have the tip a little higher in the frame than you wanted, to avoid rapping the spring pivot pin.
