Been EDC it for about 2 weeks. Really like the knife, but the sheath slides on my belt and the retention is getting sloppy. I tried a Tech Loc (small) but the hole don't line-up in a canted position. Any suggestions or fixes?

I would also appreciate feedback as how folks modified theirs to increase retention, taking mine hunting and would hate to discover it fell out somewhere in the field ... zoiks!

If a tech loc doesn't match with the sheath.... The only other option I see is sending the knife to a sheath maker to have another sheath made, ask for a tech loc then. I've got several David Brown sheaths with tech locs.

BTW. love the SB.

If the tek-lok doesn't fit, it is not difficult to drill holes into kydex. If the retention is getting loose, you can always apply a little heat to the mouth and tighten it.

I do believe that Brummie is correct, and drilling another hole might not be necessary. I've checked my SB sheath and lined up the holes with one of my tech locs. You, most probably, can use one of the holes of the G clip (clip on the SB sheath) and one of the grommet (?) holes on the SB sheath.

I think that my tech locs are a larger variety than the small size. I've only got one size of tech loc, so it's hard to evaluate :(

I have two Street Beats, one rigged with a G clip for horizontal 11 o'clock belt carry, the other for pocket carry. Installing the G clip tightened up the sheath secure enough for safe carry. The other sheath isn't real tight, but it's good enough for pocket carry.

Like Brummie said, drill a hole near the neck of the sheath and install a Chicago screw if you need it tighter. Several other kydex sheaths have this feature. No biggie.

I've got a small fixed blade fetish going on. My "beater" is an Izula rigged up with an Azwelke sheath and a G clip, similar to the rig for my Street Beat. If I got pants on I have one of the three. Of course, that's not counting whatever folder or other blade I happen to be fond of. Why just carry one?
