I that I stripped one of my threads on my PM2. The treads on the scale, not the screw. One of the screws will not seat in the tip up position. Not sure if it was my fault or not, but probably so. The screw in question never seated, but will seat again in the original clip down position (therefore I know it is not the screw itself)

Any fix for this? Will spyderco fix if I send the knife in?

Thanks,
John

You will have to ask Spyderco. Call on Monday and make arrangements to send it in.

Will do, again pretty sure that it was my fault, just mad at myself :(
Just got the blue para and I am already jacking it up.

Love the knife, my first Para 2. Crazy sharp from the factory. This thing is a light saber!
Love how thin they ground this one. I may jack up the threads, but not the edge. I will be using this for slicing tasks. If I want to beat on something I will break out one of my thick convex fixed blades.

Kudos to spyderco for this fine knife.

Just to close the loop on this short thread......I called Spyderco warranty, and a nice gentleman answered. I explained the problem, I told him that I thought the liner was stripped, but it very well could be my fault. He told me that the screws are purposely meant to strip before the liners, and that I could very well have a warranty issue and that I could send it in. This made sense as I could get the same screws to re-attach the pocket clip securely in the original position.

He told me that he would send me some screws first before I send it in just in case.

Today when I get home from work, I see a Spyderco package. It appears to contain every screw on the PM2.
So I figure, what the heck, can't hurt to try. Dang thing is I got it to seat the first try. I smilled, tightened the other one, and the knive is in my pocket now.

Go figure/(maybe I am an idiot)
Idiot or not, I am a happy camper.
