Hello please any advice for buy a multitool from MUT vs CHANGE TTI... I'm a med school, also help with my uncle in yard and mechanical works. Thanks

I don't own a MUT but have several TTi's and they are a great multitool. I have owned many multi-tools from other companies and several leatherman's, they are still superior to others in my opinion. Love the premium blade and the assortment of tools fit my needs.

I wouldn't bother with a MUT unless you need the AR-15 tools. the TTI will be a much better tool for your needs, more implements, and more that you will actually use.

Charge TTI out of the two.

Do yourself a favor and check out the Victorinox Spirit multi-tool as well.

A MUT has stuff you don't need as much as the stuff on the TTI, amd as Mr. Tettnagner said, check out Vic because they might have a cheaper priced tool that's got all the same stuff. Med school is big bucks!

DO NOT get Mut for uses that would require a decent muti tool. Surge, 300, or Wave is how I would go...and did go, have all of them and Mut is great for its purpose, but not for a EDC.

TTi is by far superior all around.

MUT is bigger, heavier, has worse steel for the knife, has less useful tools.

Even if you were military I'd still recommend the Tti.

It's what Tim Leatherman carries anyways.

If you do a lot of shooting and want something at the range the MUT is very cool. If that's not your thing Charge TTI all the way.

I have both.

Each has tools that the other one doesn't. If you need a tool that only one of them has, then obviously that's your answer. But if all you need is the basics, like pliers, knife, or bit driver, either would be fine. The MUT is bigger and more robust, but the TTI is lighter and more compact.

I recently had a need at work for something like a hammer, something to pound something with. My TTI was my normal EDC at the time, and I had nothing else suitable. After that day I decided to switch to the MUT, since it does have a pounding surface. But I've found it to be bulky and heavy to carry, and I'm probably going to switch back to the TTI on my belt but move the MUT to a bag I normally bring to work with me.
