Help using Gold membership

Hello - I purchased a gold membership yesterday, but am still unable to post in the "for sale" area. I tried adding myself to the "gold" group, but am still unable. Any help?

You're showing as a Gold Member now. What happens when you try to post in the Exchange?

I get directed to an error page that tells me I don't have permission to post there. This is the exact wording, cut and pasted:

tito, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

I thought I might still be awaiting activation, because it's the wkd maybe??

Yeah, I just posted in the Exchange, using his profile. There's nothing wrong with it. He's just probably posting in the wrong area.
