So Ive been hardcore into knives since Ive joined this forum about 10months ago and Ive hit a bump where I just dont know a lot of really high end makers so Im looking for ideas on makers I should look at and possibly where I could locate some knives Im in seach of. So if you wanna skip a lot of reading just list some top notch makers for me and ill check them out.

First off my price range is anywhere up to 1500$ and will be edc
I dont have a definitive type that Im looking for but Ill tell you what knives I have what I dont like and like to try and give you an idea

Things I dont care for
Cf, lscf, tantos, damascus. poor packaging, long response times, 3+yr waiting, when flippers dont flip, recurves

Things I like
lot of customizing options, unique features not seen often or only by that maker, reasonable response time usually like within a week I think isnt expecting too much, attention to detail, clean lines, high quality materials, for some reason Im draw to harpoon blades without realizing it, flippers, good action like above buttery smooth

I am looking into the Ml7 and might have a shot at the order list but with my customizations it will come out to $1000 from maker and I am not sure with Christmas and everything about buying it. I have the cash but that really limits me, but not sure when the next time will be that I could Oder one would be. One question Mk6 or Mk7?
 
Have you looked into sniper bladeworks? Ive seen more different LPC variants than any other custom knife out there. Whether its custom grinds, gunkote, or inlays, they pretty much do it all
 
You got deep pockets amigo! Rassenti, Fellhoelter, Terzuola... I'm forgetting the name of Scott Cooks apprentice... He'd be high on my list if I were interested in spending the buckage.
 
in general overall, my 2 favorites, Rocksteads and Terzuolas. Get your hands on a Terzuola...
 
Frank Fischer is one I forgot about. He does amazing work which comes at a price, but fair for the amount of materials, quality, and work that goes into his knives. So many good knife makers nowadays.
 
oh gosh this was 6months ago so much has changed guess I'll update everything since its been brought back up
Good suggestions btw I did pick up 2 rjs and a fischer archangel
Also currently looking for an estrella so you guys really nailed it
