help! what are my grits???

i ordered some sanding belts a while back and the order got mixed up...i ordered trizact, i got norax...well, long story short, i was assured that i got the equivalent of what i ordered, but i don't know specifically what grits i have...

two of the belts are norton norax, marked x45 and x100...another belt is a norton as well, but it is red and is marked "R981"...

can someone tell me what grits i have?

i'm gonna guess that the x45 is like a45 on the trizacts and thus a 360 grit while the x100 is 180 grit...the third belt is supposed to be either 60 or 80, but i want to verify it if possible...

i guess i can pretty much assume that if they didn't totally mess up, the other one must be the 60...
 
Hey I have some of the Red Nortons. Mine are marked R961 and they are 50 grit. So I think you are right that the R981 would be 60 grit.

I used one for the first time today, and WOW, they beat the hell out of AO belts.
