Help.. What is a Buck custom Vanguard BG-42 worth??

It depends on who wants it. I've seen them sell on e-bay for about 150.

I bought a Vanguard Master Series blade in BG42 and Burlwood from a forum member last year.
I paid $145.

When I bought my first hunting knife it was a Buck.. not sure the model, and like an idiot.. sold it a couple years ago.. I wanted a " just in case knife" cause I dont always know when I may go sit in my stand with my bow.. I think this one fits the bill perfectly..

I hear great things about BG42.. who knows.. maybe my doziers will get some competition for belt time..

BG 42 is a nice steel, but if thats all your using to compare your Doziers to a Buck you may need to spend some more time with the Buck. In my opinion Buck anything is better than most other brands out there, you just need to give it a chance. Even in the average 420Hc. Buck tops the charts. Is it obvious your on the Buck page
