I have a gerber silver knight in a o.c. Tanner box with 3 diamonds on the handle an a little gold raised emblem. I picked it up at a auction an have been looking for the last 3 days on the net an cant find this knife anywhere!! I did take the knife up to a jeweler an he checked the diamonds an they are real. Please someone help me i want to sell it but dont know what to price it at. I also have another silver knight but this one has 2 real diamonds in the handle instead of 3 please someone help me!!

I'd say it's probably only worth a little more than the actual gemstones themselves, but that's just my guess.

These knives date from the 70's - 90's.
Gerber used to sell into the corporate gift market. (Corporations would give gifts to their employees on their 10th or 20th etc. anniversary. Often, one of the gifts offered was a pocket knife.) The emblem is most likely the corporate logo and each diamond likely signifies 5 years of service with the company.

As to worth, I couldn't say. Put it up for auction on the auction site and see what she fetches.

Nothing because Gerber has been taken over by a scissors company.

Haha, jk.

I don't know. Interesting sounding knife though, can you post some pictures?

james0723 your comment cracked me up . it is also the actual truth. as to recent gerbers i tell friends to use them for trotline weights.maybe the shine will draw a bigger catfish.
