help with a BM

Hello,
I'm new to Busse knives. Based on their reputation I decided to try one out and bought a Battle Mistress a few weeks ago. So far I'm really impressed and can't wait to try it out some more when the weather gets better. I just have a few questions about which model exactly I got.
I bought this knife thinking it was a Zero Tolerance BM because it is 3/16" thick. I found out after that the ZT knives only came in satin finish. Mine is the black crinkle. From what I've seen online, BMs are pretty much made in 1/4" so I'm a little confused. Also, it has the asymmetrical edge, not the zero edge.
Maybe it is just a regular BM but either way I'm hoping you guys can help me out. Thanks in advance. :)

welcome hartley,
you have a zt with black coating that was made in a small run for the military.

there wern't very many of these made as i understand it. i'll get a pic up if i can.

Thanks for the info guys. Does that mean this is more valuable than a normal BM? 'Cause I got it for a really low price. :)
 
No, just the opposite. It's the main ones people like. I see that you are new to the forum and Busse's so I'll buy it from you for what you have in it or as close as I can, that way you can try to get a regular knife.

I found the same thing. A tripod logo was in place of the pic. To get around it hit quote on his post. It will come up with urls instead of the tripod logo. Copy and paste to the address and the picture comes up. Oddly enough the next time you look at his original post the pictures will now appear. Don't know why:confused: :confused:

The way I understand it, if the ZT's were uncoated they have the zero edge, if they are coated they have the asymmetrical edge. I hope this is correct :D:D
