Hi

I have a CQC 8 which I bought about a year ago. When I got it was off center so much that by the time I found out what has wrong with the knife the blade had a long nick in it from rubbing against the liner. I was new to knifes at this time and I didnt know much. As I used this knife more and more the pivot screw got really loose and I had to keep tightening. I dont really mind those to problems but know the liner is getting stuck when I try to close the knife. It is getting stuck on the far right hand side of the liner. It is almost against the other side of the knife. What can I do to fix this? Send it into Emerson? Did I wear the liner out? If I did should I just get it modded? How much is it to get it made into a framelock? I have always wanted a frame lock CQC 8. Who does a good job on fixing up emerson's?? I have always wanted to change the grind, I don't like it and want a v-grind. Anyone else have this preverance?

Thanks

SDD

if the pivot is too loose, the lock may over travel.

if the pivot is set properly, so there is little to no blade play, it probably needs to be sent in for a new lock side liner.
