Help with a decision...

My wife has given me a knife budget of ~ $250 dollars (actually, she very reluctantly agreed). Right now I have the opportunity to purchase a Gunting and trainer (set #90) for $200... or, I wait until the Perrin Street Bowie and Notalynx (I really want this one, so whoever makes the final production decisions [I think Sal mentioned Jeff], please include this model :D) are shipped out. Either way, I’ll eventually wind up with all of ‘em, just not right now…
 
Too late, I called my dealer and serial #90 Gunting and trainer are now mine... Perrin Bowie and Notalynx will have to wait for Christmas (they should be out by then anyway? :D).
 
Why am I thinking bildrac had his mind made up before his first post here? Five whole minutes covered his wait for "help" and his phone order of the first alternative, and posting the second reply. Whoooeee!!

You must have somehow talked yourself into the decision while writing the original post, right bildrac? I don't want anyone to ever refer to me as impatient or impulsive from this day forward. This boy has Spydie fever! Or a great desire to pinch somebody?

To my wife's chagrin, I've always been somewhat impulsive, maybe that's why she keeps the books and issues me an allowance :(. But as far as Spydie fever, yup, had it for years :D.

Wierd, my wife and I were at the mall the other day (when I was visiting my dealer friend and viewing the Gunting set) when we saw an ocelot picture. I turned to her and said, "there's this guy on Bladeforums that wants to name the new Wegner Notalynx as 'Ocelot.'" By the way, that's a beautiful cat and an appropriate name!
