I'm hoping some of you Buck experts can help me with a Buck 110 Limited Edition that I picked up as new old stock. It's got a cut out and painted American flag in the blade and is numbered 48/250. The leather sheath appears to be an older style and has '100 Years' embossed below the Buck logo.

Here are some photos.

Thanks in advance for your help.

"I didn't pay much for it and I think I got a good deal, but I'd appreciate some information on value."

You need a paid membership at least Gold level to sell or ask about sale values.

Paid memberships at http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/payments.php
Exchange section rules at http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/announcement.php?f=699&a=98

SECTION 5 - Miscellaneous

In order to curtail potential abuse of membership privileges associated with the forums, questions regarding valuation of knives and collections are limited to those with a membership level which permits selling on this site. Accordingly, registered and basic members may not start or post in threads with such requests whether with the intent to sell or for informational purposes only. This rule applies throughout the site.1

Hi SCFlyGuy,

Welcome to the Buck forum! Your Buck 110 was made in 2002, Custom blade stamp, 250 made, Rosewood handle.

This information was found on the Buck Collectors Club (BCCI) web site. Members have access to the club site with all kinds of great information.

Thanks for the help!! Sorry about the value inquiry (which I've edited out); I didn't know that I was violating forum rules.

The same store also had a similar model with what looked like the 9/11 flag raising etched in the handle. What do y'all think about that one? It didn't look to be a numbered limited run.

There are more than one 9/11 Buck 110 issue, so more data would be required to accurately pinpoint the correct issue date.

I like the 9/11 110 and have this one, it came in a ceramic box with a ceramic top that is scrimshawed with the 9/11 scene.

Thanks JB. That looks exactly like the knife that I saw. I don't think they had the ceramic box. I may have to go back to check it out.
