Hello, unfortuanately I have misplaced my mini Gerber Applegate and I'm looking for a replacement. As much as I love the Gerber I figured I'd look into something new incase i find it. Has to be small (preferably under 3' for the blade) lightweight, fast opening, ergonomic, partially serrated, and well costructed so it holds up.
Thanks in advance

Spyderco Delica, Tenacious(Not sure about 3"), Native V, I think there's a partially serrated Dragonfly, Benchmade Mini-Freek, DPx HEST(also not sure about 3")

Welcome to the forums.

A few I like ...
Spyderco Delica FFG was my first choice too. I personally find the Delica more comfortable in the hand then a Mini Grip but that is different for each person.
Kershaw Dividend. The cheaper one is $30ish. You can upgrade the steel to M390 for $80 or so. S35VN version is out there too IIRC.
Spyderco Chaparral. $130 or so. Several variations.

If you want to stick to your original sub $50 limit, the Ontario Rat 2 in D2 (worth a few extra $ vs the AUS 8 version) is a great choice too. ESEE Zancudo in D2. Steel Will Cutjack in D2.
