Help with a stiff 970SBT

I have tried, but this damn thing won't lossen up. I broke part of it down, that was until the T5 torx bit striped out on some tight, must be loctite, handle screws. Now I am left with the handle together and the blade out and clean. The screw won't adjust the tension, even with a little, um, effort. This is fresh from the box, never used, just stored next ot my others. Someone has to know how to lossen one of these up. I have had sucess with other Benchmades with a little tweaking, but this one won't budge. HELP!! -Krumbs
