Hi all

I have this timberline folder and nobody seems to know what it is, even after contacting timberline. It is similar to the survival folder with the brown micarta scales.

However, my knife cannot be taken apart and it has black micarta scales. Otherwise, it looks just like the survival folder. If you know what it is, please do tell me. Thanks in advance. I will get pictures up as soon as I have access to a camera and my knife.

Can't help with an ID, but try Les Robertson in the custom area. He maintains an interest in older Timberlines, he might remember it.

:).

The knife is a non-catalog folder. Similar to the Survival folder, but no survival stuff, cannot be taken apart and is a little smaller. Aluminum bolster.

I've seen a couple of these and a couple of the folders with blue anodized liners and mother of pearl.

Cool knife for a Timberline collector...just not as sought after as the survival knife.

What numbers and letters are on the knife (if any)?

there are numbers and letters inside. i will post them when i get home from work. thanks for the help so far.

also, seems that email for neeley does not work.. :(

Hey,

So the markings are on the inside of the knife, on the lock bar...they read

027SM

any clues?
