I have a Kershaw 1040 (companion to my 1050's) that I recently purchased via Ebay. The guy took slightly out of focus pics so I couldn't see that the tip was very slightly damaged and that someone half-assed tried to convex the edge. I would like the convex edge returned to a factory type bevel and the tip touched up. I could fix the tip on a stone but for the two things I was looking to have done it looks like it would be a pretty inexpensive and straightforward job for a pro.
I was able to get it hair popping sharp after a few minutes on the Sharpmaker and was considering leaving it as-is. I was just hoping someone out there could give a recommendation for someone to touch this blade up for me (preferably someone familiar with the old school Kershaw hunting knives).
