I am trying to strop my LMS with the air bleeder strop, but i don't seem to be making it any sharper. I wanted to get my LMS to shaving sharp but i can't seem to get it that sharp. I am tring to strop the knife at about 30 degrees. Is there a certain technique I am not doing or should try?

You may have rounded the edge at that angle. Try giving it a few swipes at the crock sticks or sharpmaker until nice and sharp, then strop very lightly at a 10 or so degree angle (just kissing the edge). I think that usually just a few passes on the strop is best, but sometimes the knife just keeps getting sharper and sharper. It seems to me that most of my Busse user's take stropping well (just get sharper and sharper the more you strop).

When Jerry demonstrated the strop at Blade he held the blade perpendicular to the strop, then cut the angle in half, and half again. Try a little less angle with the leather taught (unless your doing a convex edge). I've yet to find the the exact angle myself to get the whole edge shaving sharp.
Another trick 'o the strop that I learned from Master Thourot was to roll the blade over on the spine at the end of the stroke. This prevents the edge rolling.

I ran the LMS on the Sharpmaker to set the edge and then I stropped the edge per the instructions. I can not get the edge shaving sharp. I can get my victorinox and Spydercos way sharper than my LMS.
