I was going through old boxes from 20 years back, selling some things to finance a few future purchases (mostly knives, I'm afraid) and ran across something I got when I was a cop-I don't even remember where I got it. It is apparently stainless steeland has a a three-sided "blade" a few inches long and three "blood grooves." After that, it is a flat handle with a pommel (small), and engraved on one side of the handle is H.G. Long, cross dagger, sheffield england, etc. around a crest. It was packaged with a brown leather sheath with slots for straps to be affixed, if memory serves, to one' wrist. I think I got it for plainclothes operations but never got around to carrying it-anybody know anything about this? Thanks.cwd

Sound like a replica of the WW2 OSS dagger. Longs made a bunch of them in the late 70's or early 80's. Quite a few different models IIRC
