Help with axe head.

I don't know anything about axes but i got a Kelly axe and tool works axe on flee market.
I wanted to make difften axe from it but if it is a valuable axe i will try to restore it.
Can anyone give me more info on it please.

It's a "Woodslasher". Maybe a 2 1/4 lb boys axe? It's not particularly valuable but it's a pretty nice head to be cutting up. The Woodslasher was their economy line but still a a fine axe with nice geometry that is no longer available today. It would make a very nice user and boys axes are very handy (if that is what it is).

I don't see the eye ridges normally associated with their woodslasher line, but it looks to be about the same as a woodslasher.
Probably mid 60's with a slightly higher degree of fit and finish than a woodslasher.
