Help with Barlow dating/ID

My wife inherited this Japanese atco barlow. Her mother thinks it was my wife's grandfather's pocket knife. For solely sentimental reasons, I would like to date it and find out whatever I can about it. However, my Google searches are coming up blank. Any info is greatly appreciated.

I have an 80's ATCO knife from my grandfather, and it's blades are stainless vs the carbon steel blades on this knife.

Nice knife.

There were a lot of Japanese knifes imported to the US in the 60s through the 80s, I imagine that your knife is from that era. I don't know any specifics about your knife, or how to date it with any more certainty.
