Help with Benchmade 535-4

Hello I am having some questions and concerns about a Benchmade I purchased off eBay. The seller had excellent reviews but could never be too sure as this is my first bench made I’ve ever purchased I would just like a piece of mind thank you guys for your help535BK-4
 
Can you provide some pictures ?? Like detail of the aluminum handle, the blade and markings on the blade, I have one right beside me I can look at. But without pictures of yours I can’t help.
 
Post pics of the box too, inside and out.

Assuming not from an authorized dealer? Was it listed as new? Was the price too good?

I was burned with a fake Bugout a year ago. :mad:
 
If you are worried about the authenticity of the knife we would have to have pics of everything first.

If you are just wondering about the actual knife itself, I mean, it's probably the best factory Bugout you can get. I still have my original Bugout, never really carry it though. Never really fell in love with it like many people did, even after Flytanium scales. But the one you got is a definite upgrade over most other factory Bug's.

Benchmade as a company make a good product, good QC, and good warranty. They will take care of you if you ever have an issue.

i don’t own a bugout but everything there looks like it should coming from benchmade. i think you’re good to go
 
Looks just like mine box and all. And i know the shop I got mine at. So I think you have a legit deal.
 
It looks fine to me, however I'm curious as to why you had questions and concerns as to the authenticity of the knife?
 
I know plenty of people have been duped buying stuff off EB. Not sure of the basis of the concern, but I can understand wanting to be sure when dropping $250 for a knife.

But I have probably bought 15 to 20 knives off EB just this year, new and used, no telling how many in my lifetime. I've honestly never had an issue before with anything I've bought.

It's trickier when buying used sometimes, but most new production fakes being sold there by "dealers" are easy to spot a mile away. Don't think they get enough credit sometimes, but EB has a really good buyer protection program. So even if a dealer has a no returns policy, if u ever do get a fake EB will take care of you. Just my .02 cents.
