Hi. I want to blue my bowie, but I want to do a good job. I have already blued my khukri made of 5160 and it doesn`t look too bad. I have a bottle of Perma Blue gun bluing liguid and I followed the instructions on the back when i did my khukri. But I read that people put the knife in boiling water before they do bluing. I didn`t do that to my kuk. Is that a better way to blue a knife? If so can anybody explain to me in detail what I`m supposed to do? Thanks.
