help with Boker knife

My dad gave me this Boker knife and I was just hoping I could find out a little more about it like how old it is, what kind of steel, how much is is worth. I want to see if it would be worth getting some inserts to fill in the gaps. Someone has taken them out and scraped it clean. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Looks like a speed lock or top lock...depending on whether it has a spring or not?. Steel is usually today in 4034 stainless. Course not sure when your was made and/or how many times boker changed steels. Design is from dietmar pohl.....I think? That's all I got for ya. Likely Terry can help with you other questions.

I haven't it taken it apart but it does feel like it has a spring. It pops out really stong when I press the button.
