Pictures attached.
I am searching for some information on my 639\ (1994). The blade is only serrated at the tip. It is bead blaster.
The handle is shiny black phenolic. The pommel and guard are brass.
Came in a Buck Limited Edition with no papers and a brown custom 119 sheath.
I would like to know about how many were made, the catalog number and any info that might help. Perhaps an estimate of value if so allowed. If not PLEASE don't answer.
I tried to access the Buck Catalogs but cannot find it on the new site. I am a life member of BCCI. Any hints how to find it?
Thanks,
Mike

Mike as you are a gold member you can talk about values. However, I don't know what that is worth.

BCCI, go to the site log in and click on members only and the catalogs are on the drop down.

Mike, I cannot access the data files either in the clubs site. Still, all looks correct with your 639. I don't see those at shows. The last one I saw swimming in the bay fetched 1 1/2 beans. A handsome find. DM

That ought to be a knife you could baton with....

David, never fear, it is not set up yet, I don't get it either....300

I believe that these are a custom build with not many made and are not in any catalog. One sold with the saw on the spine as well as the serrations on the tip for a bit over 4 bills not long ago. I know of another similar to yours that is for sale for $150.

You two need to send John F another email like I did. I get all of the news letters & all of the other club data we used to get on the other site! The only thing they have not had set up is the membership contact data like we used to get, this site only has our names. Open the data in the red section at the top and scroll down and it will be there.

Update: Even the membership data works now, if the member has updated their info. If you try to get in and can't access this data please email John F., he will fix it for you! Craig, as a BCCI board member I'll be waiting to see your comments about your ability to access the all the items on the BCCI site or read John F's comments to you as why some still can't get access. Yes, my friend I'm putting you on the spot here:mad::eek::rolleyes:.

John, Thanks. But he can't get on here and read about the problems with the website we are having, like the rest of us. So, we must jump thru another hoop? Anyway, Chico's model is a not so common model. Good luck on info for now. DM

Chico needs to search this forum there have been a few threads that talked about all of the variations of the 639's.

Wow David, a simple email is not that big of a hoop.....is it? (send the email from the BCCI web site, click on contact on the top of the page)

I had to send it for my access to work right!

Chico, david, craig, John can't fix it if you don't tell him about your issue.

For an old timer what the heck is a bean. I just always ate them and 1 1/2 isn't much at dinner LOL.

Mike, Haa. I'm never sure how the mods will respond about us giving a value statement on here. A Bean = a bill. Excuse my confusing terms. DM
