Help with Camillus Cuda

Hello, new forum member without any experience with knives. I am wanting to start carrying a folding knife as part of my EDC. I previously purchased this knife and began going over it today. It has a deployment mechanism that seems rather stiff to me. I have used some Slip 2000 that I use to lubricate my handguns. It doesn't seem to have helped. Maybe I am expecting too much out of this likely budget knife? Does anyone here have any direct experience with this or similar knife? Thank you!

Dissemble and clean it. Give the pivot and washers a drop of oil before you reassemble.

Nice. I've never seen a clip point version of that knife before. Was that a regular production knife?

No, that’s one of my own modifications. It started out as a spear point.
