Help with Case tang stamps please.

Today i was trying to remember when i bought my first USA traditional other than my Buck 112 back in the seventies, then i remembered i still had my first Case a Sodbuster Jr, so i got it and my copy of Collecting Case Knives and turned to the date page, i already knew i bought it in the noughties so i looked to the 2000 marking and compared it to the mark on my knife and lo and behold something is not quite right or are my eyes deceiving me ?

Any thoughts gratefully received.

According to allabout pocket knives that is the 2010 to 2019 tang stamp. Since the two dots on top are gone with none of the dots on the bottom, that knife is from 2012.

Thanks John, i did not think it through, in 2010 they turned the stamp the other way up, Duhh.

Case has a full list on their web site. If you click on the individual images they will drill down to the year details so you don't have to count the dots yourself.

Also you've got the plain "s" in your Case and the illustration has a runic "s". That trips me up pretty often.
